Innovate for a future we want. The Innovators Camp is a unique innovation experience for students and researchers at Zürich-based Universities, taking you from idea to implementation in just five weeks.

From idea to prototype in just five weeks: Learn about innovation, gather tools to start solving interconnected, complex problems of the 21st century and co-create solutions for real world problems in an interdisciplinary team with students and researchers from other universities. Bachelor and Master students as well as researchers (Mittelbau) from Zürich-based universities are eligible to apply. You work together with students and researchers from different universities to develop, prototype and test new ideas around this years’ topic, social innovation. We work on real, current challenges in Zurich. Apply now for the Innovators Camp 2024. There are no ECTS offered: in this camp, you learn for life. The course language is English.

The Innovators Camp is a joint initiative by the UZH Innovation Hub and the Z-Kubator at ZHdK.

Achievements

Development of a design sprint format struggling to receive applications into a successful flagship program (new focus: social innovation). Collaboration with UZH & 9 other nationally relevant, locally rooted stakeholders from politics, business and practice.
Increase in applications by 100% from 2022 (my 2nd month in the job, role: co-host) to 2023 (role: programme manager, development of curriculum towards a locally relevant focus theme differing from other offers on the market). By 2024, we were booked out within a few weeks of application opening and congratulated on having succeded in curating „the space to be for the social innovation community“ by partners & participants alike.
